Angus Beef Kinney, beloved dog and constant companion, passed away peacefully in his sleep on the morning of July 20, 2025, at the age of 16.

He was born on March 2, 2009, looking more like a baby cow than a puppy. All soft fur and big curious brown eyes. That’s how he got the name Angus Beef, and it fit him perfectly from day one.

He was his mom Amber’s whole world. Her shadow and her steady place. Her protector, her confidant, her truest companion. Their bond was deep, unshakable, and without condition.

Angus was sweet and a little bit silly. He loved his toys, especially if they squeaked, and he never passed up a chance to play. His favorite partner in crime was his friend Mogo. Together, they brought plenty of joy and a fair amount of chaos. Angus also had a sassy side and wasn’t afraid to let you know what he was thinking, often with the best, most expressive "woof" you’ve ever heard.

He enjoyed the good things in life: treats, belly rubs, and his birthday steak every single year. His extended family of aunts, uncles, and cousins all loved him. He was a gentle giant who brought joy to everyone who knew him.

Angus had a quiet way of making people feel calm and safe. He didn’t need to be the center of attention. He just needed to be there. And he always was.

He was everything to his mom. He will always be her puppy dog. And he was, without a doubt, a very good boy.
