Bob Cat was the beloved Manx companion of Pete, and then after his soul human passed away he lived out his days with his loving extended family Cathy (Pete’s daughter) & Dave, and favorite weenie dog sisters Juniper & Winnie, and his feline sister Gracie.
Bob’s life was an epic adventure. He started as a mere barn kitten, where he was orphaned during an attack from a neighboring dog. From a young age he loved humans, and was driven to survive, endearing himself eventually to his faithful companion Pete. His younger years were spent camping, fishing & RVing through the Midwest and into the Rocky Mountains and southwest. His favorite things were wet cat food, bird watching, playing with mice and just being with Pete.
In 2016 his person passed away and eventually moved to Rapid City SD. He lived out his days monitoring the neighborhood and trying out cat food at the neighbors houses, hunting mice, irritating the neighborhood nesting birds & squirrels & making sure his claws were well sharpened by the lilac bush in the fro t yard and the backyard electric pole. The older he got the more snuggles he gave, becoming Winnie the weenie’s favorite friend.
He passed away peacefully in his sleep, cuddled in warm blankets, and has finally reunited with his forever person Pete. He will forever be missed but the memories and stories of his life live on through us.
