In the early morning of Thursday June 20th we lost our beloved friend and loyal family member Chester after a very brief illness. I am so thankful I was at his side when he passed.

Our lives were blessed with Chester in July of 2010. He was such a little guy, so small we were afraid we might break him.When he grew up, Chester never weighed more than 4.5 pounds. Like most small dogs he had no idea of his size- believing he was the biggest & baddest guy around! He loved the outdoors, playing fetch for hours and hours and being with his humans.

Some years ago I had multiple battles with cancer and my loving boy never seemed to leave my lap. Allowing me to pet his belly the whole time. He was the first and only dog our family had. We all loved him so much and he us. To not have him here with us has left a gaping hole in our lives and hearts.

We had Chester cremated at Resting Pawz. I was beyond thankful when we were told Chester could be with his best friend Tammy and wrapped in the soft baby blankets we brought him home in so many years ago. That brought a huge amount of comfort. Dave and Chandra are the most amazing neighbors we all have. They are so caring, compassionate, and have given all of us a very special option when we lose our beloved friends. We will always be grateful for them..
