Obituary For Daisy May

Daisy May once belonged to my parents and as a pup she was a runner and jumper. This had my parents feared that she was going to get herself lost or killed. As my dad had found her out in the middle of a field with her leg wrapped in barbed wire. This led to me taking her as my own and moved to Rapid City where she blossomed into the dog she was meant to be. She was an explore at heart. Anywhere there was the potential squirrel or rabbit to hunt, you find her searching. She was an avid motorcycle ride enthusiast, even refusing to leave the trailer if the ride was not long enough. All through her life she was definitely the queen bee of the family's pack of dogs. She had an iron stomach to the end and was the best dishwasher we have ever had. Always a daddy's girl, she never left my side and would always go where I went. She was my shadow. That was until a new momma moved in. Her heart was stolen and she slowly became a momma's girl. Longs nights of cuddling became the norm. Eventually fighting over the bed was a nightly routine and naturally Daisy usually won. Daisy was the most amazing and loyal dog we have had the pleasure to have in our company. She has left impressions of our hearts that will never be forgotten, especially impressions she has left on her adopted brother Loki. May the legacy of Daisy never fade as her memory and impressions live on.
