Fabio Enrique Gibson was taken for a walk to greener pastures today, September 12th, 2023 in Hermosa, South Dakota. He leaves behind his favorite stuffed bat, two feline, and two human companions that accompanied him on many of his storied travels. Born of a high-class pedigree, he found himself at home with the Gibson Family at their estate in Charlestown, Indiana. He was often spotted wearing the latest fashions while taking jaunts around the neighborhood. Rain or shine, he strutted his way down the country roads and past the many manor homes that dot the landscape. He was protected in these adventures by his human-mom, Andrea. More than once was she forced to blast away the neighborhood paparazzi with a quick shot of pepper spray. It is perhaps here that the bond began to grow so strongly between Andrea and Fabio. They were inseparable, often taking lavish vacations to Gatlinburg, the surrounding forests, and to Andrea’s many sporting events. Fabio had a penchant for travel, he booked many thousand miles on airlines–even living in Hawaii for a brief stint where he learned that he could not swim in the waves of the Pacific. In his later years he developed a love of sun naps and porch howling. He will be missed by those whose underwear he so often ate, those whose mailboxes he peed on, and those who shared his warmth under a blanket.
