It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved cat, Frank Gallagher, who left us peacefully in August 2025. Frank came into our lives in March 2020, rescued from an abandoned hotel, where we quickly recognized his vibrant spirit. His amusing and mischievous nature reminded us so much of Frank Gallagher from the show Shameless, and it was an easy decision to name him after such a character.

Throughout his six short years with us, Frank lived life to the fullest. He was an adventurous soul who loved the outdoors, often seen prowling along the sidewalk in front of our home, on the lookout for birds, and curiously observing the neighborhood kids at play—always careful to keep his distance from their eager hands.

When not exploring the outside world, Frank cherished his time indoors. He found comfort beside his best friend Wednesday, the hairless cat, or atop his favorite companions, Duke and Apollo. Their warmth and camaraderie brought him immense joy.

Frank’s time with us was filled with love, laughter, and countless memories. He will be dearly missed by all, especially by his favorite brother, Gaige, the only one Frank allowed to pick him up and show him affection without a hint of resistance. Though his life started with challenges, we hope that the last six years brought him the happiness he deserved.

As we say goodbye, we take solace in knowing that Frank is now free from pain, chasing after his favorite snack—Doritos—and exploring fields without end. He will forever hold a special place in our hearts, our unforgettable Frank boy.
