Obituary For Isabel “Izzy” VanThuyne

In Loving Memory of Isabel “Izzy”

Izzy, affectionately known as our goofy girl, filled our home with laughter and light. She was the joyful one who never seemed to watch where she was going—her excitement often led to her bumping into walls and doors, yet it only made her more lovable. With her long, slender body, she slithered through the house, her tail trailing behind, and brought her own special charm to every corner.

Izzy had a unique way of showing affection; she’d often sit right on top of her older sister Luna’s head or chase her sisters, following them everywhere they went. Her best buddy was her sister Sadie, and the two were inseparable, sharing every moment of play and mischief together. Izzy loved tug-of-war, playing with our cats, and especially adored trips to the lake, where she could let loose with all her happy energy.

Every night, Izzy had a special bedtime ritual—she’d wait patiently for me to lift the comforter, then slide and slither under the blankets, curling up by my feet. It was her place, and she’d sleep there all night, content with her spot near me.

Izzy was the sweetest, most loving spirit, and though her time with us was far too short, she leaves behind memories that will forever make us smile. She was our precious, playful baby, and she will always be missed.

Our time together was far too short, but the love we shared was boundless. My heart aches knowing our journey together ended so soon, but you’ll always be my sweet baby and I’ll forever miss our bedtime snuggles. Rest in peace, my little love.
