Sven is a Lab / German Shorthair Pointer mix and was rescued from the shelter at 2 months old by his mom till she met dad in 2017. Once dad was in the picture they were inseparable.

Sven was our dorky sunflower. He was full of personality and loved playing with his caterpillar or snake toy. He would sun himself out in the yard all spring, summer, and fall till snow fell. Then during the winter he lived up to his name. He loved the snow and running through a fresh snowfall. Biting at it and playing in it with his brother. He would chase the snow as we shovled it off the patio into piles.

Sven loved going for walks and going bye - bye with his brother in the jeep. He always walked with a bounce in his step and made his tail bounce while curled over his back. Mom always called it his prance. He was always so excited to see mom and dad come home, he would do his bouncy happy spins everytime. Then would go have zoomies in the yard with dad every night till the end. He loved his nightly treat after dinner and was a man of routine. He would never let you forget it.

Sven will be missed dearly by us and his brother Bandit.
