Today is the day I knew would come. My heart is broken, my mind is numb. So many memories of all the years. Nothing left now except our tears. Sweet Tipper was our very best friend, we loved him so much to the very end…he’s been with us, faithfully through it all, my cancer, and surgeries…Chuck, after his fall. We’ve loved him and cherished him all of his life…There are just no words, it cuts like a knife…
His love was true for Mama and Dad…he’ll be with them now, for which I am glad.
I took many pictures and loved him so much, not sure how we’ll manage without his soft touch…
He’d reach out and tap us to get our attention, a pat or a treat was his only intention!
For all of our marriage through thick and through thin our buddy was with us our hearts he did win…
When Daddy passed he knew right away he wouldn’t come back, He was gone to stay.
Then many years later Mama struggled to go, Tipper laid right beside her such love he did show…
He’s not been the same since Mama is gone, he misses her greatly…his journey now done.
The time for him to go is here. I’ll miss him, I’ll love him, and hold him so dear…my heart will be heavy for many a day… how long it will take I really can’t say…I’ll cry and grieve for him as long as it takes, I’ll never forget him…I’ll hold him so near, always there in my memories precious and clear. I love you dear Tipper at last you are free…At heavens gates please save a nice spot for me!
We’re spreading his ashes right with Mom and Dad…I promise dear Buddy not to be sad! Run, jump and play, we’ll be there soon too…With joy in our hearts we’ll be there with you. Thank you dear Jesus, for this friend so true, We’ll let him go now to be safe with you.
