Von D came into our lives as a rescue when she was a 4 month old kitten in Colorado. She loved her Momma’s banana bread and was quite the cheese connoisseur 🩷 Just like her big sister, Cassie, she joined us in our military travels by taking road trips around the United States and even flying overseas to experience island life in The Azores just off the coast of Portugal.

She’d often be found napping on her favorite blanket fresh out of the dryer, lying in the sun or forcing herself onto her Mom and Dad’s lap. Shoelaces, red dot lasers and her coveted ball toy kept her active until she decided “I’m done!” and would casually walk away. From her constant kisses and head boops to making biscuits, it is difficult to imagine how over 16 wonderful years together was nearly enough. We take comfort in knowing she is now reunited with her big sister where they are snuggling in the sun, enjoying an endless buffet of catnip, cheese and living pain-free across The Rainbow Bridge. 🌈 Rest In Paws, our sweet baby girl!!
